Imagine the Impossibilities....Completed!

As I mentioned earlier this month, I joined up with the Imagine the Impossibilities Challenge and decided to attempt painting the small chests we use as nightstands in our bedroom.
The Before
 The After

I'm so glad to have gotten these finished, well almost finished.  You might have noticed in the picture above that there is a missing knob.  Somehow I lost it during the painting and have yet to find it.... I'm thinking 2 certain 17 month olds may have stashed it in their treasures. Another drawer on the other chest split when I knocked it over trying to hop around it ...
We are going to go ahead and call it a job completed!

My mom would say that the crack added character. Awesome job, you totally transformed the look with the white paint, I can't believe you did this with a broken leg. :D If I broke my leg, I probably would lay in the bed eating Hershey kisses and watching some ridiculous Kardashian show on E. :D Good for you for staying productive!

No worries about the knob! They look incredible! You truly have accomplished your "impossible."
Thanks for participating in our party!

They look wonderful missing knob and crack included. I have to smile because I see those paint swatches on the wall and it reminds me that I lived like that for 4 years before tackling my 'impossibility.'

So glad you joined our challenge and linked up!

Haha... that's funny. Children think everything is a their toy. Gotta love then. The dressers look great in white.

Also, thanks for stopping by my challenge room. The file sorter kept calling my name and would not let me leave the antique store without it.

Nice job! Maybe the missing knob is an opportunity to sneak in something fun. ;-) Lemonade out of lemons.

Cracks and missing knobs are a part of everyday living in this house, for sure! Katie, I'm like your mom. This room is the only one in our house that isn't plaster (because it was an addition) and I have come to love the cracks that inevitably come with old plaster.Linda, I laughed too about the paint sample stripes on the wall...hoping it's a motivation to get the painter here quickly, but after seeing the little tool you used for your vaulted ceiling I'm wondering if I could use that since I can't climb on a ladder ....we shall see!
